I was wondering if you could swap a K42a2 into an 2003 accord sedan. The reason i ask is because I run the hell out of my engine. I mean seriously. Everyone at my college wants to race me so i do. I get an average of like 15mpg. lol. but i was wanting more power and the K24a2 from the Acura TSX puts out like 205 hp. that would be a 45 hp gain.

Newer generation single port exhaust k24 (z) engines are currently not compatible with our swap kits. Here is a list of the ones that are. *K24a4 - These engines are found in the 03-05 Honda Accord and 03-06 Honda Element. These will be the cheapest of the bunch with a price range of $300-$1000.It may have first come to light in the 2001 EP3 Civic Type R, but Honda more than got their money’s worth over the years, fitting it within the Integra, Accord, CR-V and Stream over its lifecycle. Outside of Honda, it was even used by Ariel in the bonkers Atom; a true mark of just how versatile this engine is.

If it were me, I would try to source a head from an RSX type s or an 04-08 TSX. Head swap on a Accord K24A4 or A8 requires pistons as well. Only a bolt on for the K24A1 from the CR-V. 3.
One of the problems with the swap is that the subframe is so damn huge. barely any of the current swap headers will fit. 5 pulley setup. I think it was a 6 rib 52in serpentine belt that I used. Traced an outline of the shifter box and made a mounting plate for it. It was a pita but we managed to make it happen.
